Locksmith makes spare car keys?

I lost my truck keys and the door to my truck is locked so I can't even get into the truck. I'm calling a locksmith to come and unlock the door. I was wondering if they can make me a spare key. If they can, how much would it cost to get the door unlocked and make the spare key and how long would it take?
