I have a 2003 dodge sx 2.0 that i got from a auction when i bought it there was no key?

so i paid a locksmith to make one who was already on the property rather then taking it to the dealership.The car ran fine for about last 2 weeks its a 5 speed .Yesterday the car wouldn't start there is fuel there is battery power and even giving it a push it kinda starts so appears starter is fine .But the light for the alarm stays on solid not blinking and its like the car doesn't recognize the key or something anyone tell me What it could be and how TO fix it
