How to break into a gun safe?

I have to lock my meds up bc my sisters friends steal them , im broke ( hence no locksmith)so i use my dads old gun safe it has a round lock with 8 pins (?) ive tried making a pick , the bic pen thing,prying it with a screwdriver, and smashing the lock (it just indents). I need my meds asap!!!! Any ideas??? Or better picking smashing prying advice idc if its breaks
